California students in Topanga (bottom left) and Ventura (bottom right) explored the legs of water bugs (bottom center) under a Scanning Electron Microscope. These images were projected, live, from Georgia Tech, (top) thousands of miles away.
Governor's Mentor Conference:
Hosted in Sacramento by the California Governor’s Office, four additional venues throughout the state inter-connected for a full day’s training conference.
All participants were able to engage in site-to-site ‘break out sessions’ across the state.
Models of Use
Our past events, spanning xx years, have taken place simultaneously in multiple locations around the world.
We have connected youth around the globe to each other in real time.
We have led connected events between classrooms in Los Angeles and Kenya, Malibu and India, Beverly Hills and Jerusalem, to name a few.
We have connected groups of college students to each other across great distances in real time.
We have connected youth around the United States to each other and to scant resources such as Holocaust survivors, robotics instructors, and scanning electron microscopes: resources which have participated in our events from thousands of miles away.
